A very short story.

“Kelly, who do you have a crush on?” I asked my friend Kelly. We were at her house for a sleepover.

“Well…” she said slowly with a shy smile. “There is this one guy…”

“OMG who!?” I screamed. “You have to tell me right now!”

She giggled and blushed. “I don’t even really know his name!”

“OMG I don’t even care, seriously, just tell me!”

“Okay…” she said. “Well, he’s really tall…”

“OMG he sounds hot!”

“… and he’s really thin.”

“Nice!!!”

“Like, a lot thinner than me.”

“Oh, okay.”

“Like, his arms are about as thick as, like, I don’t know, like a stick or whatever.”

“Huh. That is pretty skinny. Is he OK?”

“I don’t know. He’s super old, he’s like 85 or older.”

“Oh, that is pretty old, yeah.”

“But yeah, he’s amazing.”

“What does he look like? Brown hair? Blonde hair? Cute face?”

“His face is kind of blurry, actually, and it’s, like, extra white, with black holes in the middle.”

“Huh. That’s kind of weird though, right?”

“I guess. But like I said I don’t even know his name! Oh my god, nevermind! You’re the one who asked!” Kelly said, playfully whapping me with a pillow.

“No, no, no, he sounds super hot and amazing, duh, tell me more!” I said.

“Well, anyway, he always just appears SUPER suddenly out of nowhere, he’s like retardedly fast. It’s amazing.”

“Does he run track?”

“I don’t know, but OMG maybe he does!!”

“That would be so hot.”

“I know—right?! I can’t stop thinking about him!!!”

“Haha, OMG you’re going to get ma-a-a-a-arried!”

“OMG shut up!” Kelly squealed, and she hit me again with the pillow.
